The park boasts the 30,000-square-foot Community Recreation Center, the Bob Fatjo Sports Center, the George F. Haines International Swim Center, and the Santa Clara Tennis Center, with eight lighted tennis courts. The park also has lighted softball fields, basketball courts, a bowling green, and an exercise course, and it is the home of the Central Park Library.

2. The Triton Museum of Art

Spend a few hours at the Triton Museum of Art at 1505 Warburton Avenue in Santa Clara to appreciate the superb collection of artwork on display. The museum, with its high pyramidal skylights and curved glass wall overlooking the sculpture garden, has been exhibiting contemporary and historical works with an emphasis on local artists alongside regional and national artists for over 56 years.

The current exhibits include modern creations by Doug Glovaski, bold and colorful paintings by Roland Petersen, and abstracts by David Einstein. The museum also offers art classes, workshops, and monthly Triton Book Club meetings.
