Trim Levels of the 2024 Subaru Ascent

With a roomy interior, lots of safety features, and standard all-wheel drive on all trims, the 2024 Subaru Ascent is well-suited for family trips in the Bay Area. All eight trim levels use the same powertrain – a 260-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine – but different standard and optional features make it easy to find the right trim for you. Base 8-Passenger

With 8.7 inches of ground clearance and standard X-MODE, the Base trim of the 2024 Ascent is ready to conquer rough terrain. Its 8-passenger configuration includes a spacious second-row bench seat and an equally roomy third row.

Premium 8-Passenger

This trim’s main highlights are the towing capacity of 5,000 lbs and the optionally available Class III trailer hitch that makes this model perfect for adventures. Exterior highlights include 18-inch gray aluminum-alloy wheels. Inside, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat boosts comfort.

Premium 7-Passenger

The Premium 7-Passenger trim is similar to its 8-Passenger counterpart in almost every way, except for the second-row design. In this model, ample captain’s chairs replace the second-row bench, enhancing comfort for the second-row passengers.

Onyx Edition 7-Passenger

In the Onyx Edition 7-Passenger trim, the comfortable second-row captain’s chairs pair with awesome standard amenities, such as a power panoramic moonroof and a heated steering wheel. StarTex upholstery repels water and makes it easy to clean spills.

Limited 8-Passenger

Next up, the Limited 8-Passenger trim comes standard with 20-inch wheels with a dark gray finish and can be had with power-folding side mirrors. The panoramic roof is also optionally available on this trim.

Limited 7-Passenger

The main difference between this trim and the Limited 8-Passenger is the second row, which features captain’s chairs in this model. Other than that, the trims boast the same highlights, such as heated front and second-row seats and Subaru’s DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System that uses an angled camera to recognize signs of distraction and fatigue while driving.

Onyx Edition Limited 7-Passenger

The power panoramic moonroof turns standard on this trim and pairs with other awesome features, such as 20-inch wheels in a black finish and Crystal Black Silica-finish folding side mirrors. Like the Onyx Edition trim, this model comes with StarTex-trimmed seats and boasts standard CabinConnect: a feature that projects the voices of front-seat occupants through the third-row speakers, making conversation easier.

Touring 7-Passenger

As the top trim, the Touring 7-Passenger brings exclusive standard features. Highlights include a smart auto-dimming rearview compass mirror and power-folding side mirrors. Unique styling accents, such as chrome door handles, are also standard. Exclusive ventilated front seats enhance comfort, while the Nappa leather upholstery enhances the cabin’s luxurious feel.
